Vancouver artist Megan McKay graduated from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2003 where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Art with a major in photography.

Her work is about the dynamics and dysfunctions within relationships, sex identity and homogeneity. She is fascinated by the products and obsessions of North American popular culture. Through her work, she attempts to understand the complexities of emotions and sensations that take place within relationships and the self.

Megan works both as a photographer and a curator of group exhibits. Her work was shown at the AION Gallery in May 2003, together with that of Danaca Ackerson and Sandra Žarkovic, in an exhibit entitled "Pink".
