Milan states: I began working in the field of photography when I accepted a position with the Museum of Theatre Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. This marked the beginning of a career in archival photography and soon I became a freelance photographer for other prominent art institutions including the Museum for Applied Arts in Belgrade, the Belgrade City Museum and the National Museum of Yugoslavia.
His style is often described as surrealistic in nature.
